Pffbt..
I made a discovery today. I found a computer. Wait a second, this is cool. It does what I want it to. If it makes a mistake, it's because I screwed it up. Not because it doesn't like me... Or feels threatened by me.. Or thinks I'm a smart ass..
Im serious... I used BT to learn how to secure myself... Before BT I used Last XP and produced music...
Now Im using BT for producing... It has awesome sound quality, I mean it had before I installed update 2 days ago.
I know it sounds stupid but its true!
Im not that good in cracking, hacking and stuff like those, so music production is best solution for me, and BT has offered me good sound quality (tnx to BT programmers)...
Now its gone, and I think I will get back at ************************

I work with music too, but I never thought of using BT for that. There are other Linux distro's specialized in audio mastering/editing (not to mention windows or macOS), using a distro that specializes in security (where sound quality is not important) makes no sense at all.
Try alsa mixer .
Backtrack is a security distribution it was not made for sound editing or anything else.
Back|track giving machine guns to monkeys since 2007 !
