Yesterday i have the same problem
I use this method for my bt5-r2-64kde
Purge pyrit
Install libssl-dev
using wiki for bt5-cuda(pyrit&cpyrit)
I'using driver285...& cudatoolkit 4.1.2
now worked beautifully & i NOT need to switching python27
I'm happy
Hi all,
My BackTrack 5 R2 is fresh installed. The pyrit is installed by default. However, it cannot show the GPU (CUDA) when using list_cores command.
How to fix it?

Can you please, make a tutorial step-by-step for others?
You need to install CPyrit-CUDA modules.

EDIT: I would recommend hashcat instead of pyrit.
Hashcat: +faster, +new gpus supported, -closed source.
pyrit: +open source, -have scaling issues, -not supported anymore.
