Default Error when trying to put card into monitor mode

Hi all, I have bt2 booted and running but when i go to run airodump or kisnet or airmon I get errors saying my card (Netgear WAG511) can not be put into monitor mode.

In the konsole I tried iwconfig ath0 mode monitor and got error "SET failed on device ath0 ; Invalid argument".

I find this weird because it works fine with airodump-ng in windows. Do I need to install a driver for use in linux? If anyone has a solution or if someone could point in my the right direction that'd be awesome. Thanks.
(For the record, I did search but didn't find anything, or I'm to stupid to notice it)

    Try this:

    BT ~#airmon-ng start ath0

    BT ~#airmon-ng start wifi0

Then run iwconfig and check if ath0 is in Monitor mode. If it still isn't, try the following:

    BT ~#ifconfig ath0 down

    BT ~#airmon-ng start ath1

wifi0 should now parent ath1, and ath1 should be in Monitor mode. If it isn't, try:

    BT ~#airmon-ng start wifi0
    Fingerprint.

What does the Documentation say about your card on the wiki?

I believe the latter to be true in this case...

I got it all sorted out. Thanks Duritoxn.
Forgot to check the wiki also.
