I started cli at: dos 3.1, been using hyper term, putty, tera term, secure CRT, ZocPro for years in Windows also.

Loaded a rig with bt5 this last week, why is it slow in bt5.

Slow as in after you type thier is a dely for the text to apear, or when you press return key, the dely is long to get the prompt.

The terminal within bt5 works fine but, when i use tera term or zocpro i get the typing delay. It is very annoying to say the least.

I connected to cisco router with tera term and this is when I get the typing delay.

what is wrong this cannot be what to expect in bt5 or linux, it just could not be, it is not exceptable.
