    when i try to upgrade i see this error:

    @Innerfire: I have a similar issue. (Just instead of "nvidia-current" I used to use the NVIDIA.. .bin driver file from the Nvidia website).
    I suspect the (probably modified/customized 3.2.6 kernel the guys from the backtrack distro distribute through their repository) is
    simply incompatible with the Nvidia driver and this is a serious issue. I really hope they'll solve it soon.

    I have this exact problem with R2 except I am using a Dell 15" N5040 Intel Core I3 laptop. The issue happens with 64 bit Gnome and KDE environments. Backtrack 5 R1 works fine.
