Default Problem with Pyrit and ATI.

    Hello,
I usually never ask for help but I can't seem to get this working...
I followed many tutorials, such as this one : http://www.backtrack-linux.org/wiki/...Install_OpenCL
In the end my card isn't showing when I type 'pyrit list_cores'
It seems that I'm not able to install the ATI CCC driver

    here's some infos :

    BT5 R1 32bit
    Running in VMware
    ATI HD 4870

    Thanks in advance.

try running on bare metal not through a vm. I dont know if the vm allow direct access to the graphics hardware.

dwjs1974 is correct: You cannot access hardware directly from a Virtual Machine. You have to boot into the operating system from an install, live CD, or live USB to access the hardware directly.
