    Lightbulb testers for new wpa gui wanted ....

    in my off time and for leaving a little AIR, my wireless forensic project, i begin to code (nearly finish....) a kind of new wpa gui

    features :
    Networks profiles
    WEP/WPA1-TKIP-AES/WPA2-TKIP are supported
    DHCP and static ip are allowed
    RT73 COMMANDS(not compatible for wpa_supplicant)
    wpa_supplicant 0.5.8
    update of wireless tools

    Network profiles are stocked on the hd(i hope to add openssl support to crypt the key...) and contains for now
    ESSID
    MAC
    CHAN
    RATE
    ENCRYPTION+KEY
    DHCP SETTING(or STATIC IP SETTING)

    RT73 chipset is allowed easily to connect to any wpa/wpa2 network. that's great cause you have to use another utility to get it working(rtutil) or to patch wpa_supplicant installation before compiling

    so i need some testers with different chipsets
    one rt73 (fully tested yet but only by me)
    one who use dwext driver
    one who use madwifi driver(tester found but others welcome)
    one who use ipw2100 or ipw2200
    one who use ndiswrapper

    here is the profile management tab

    please thx in advance to pm me if you have 30 min free for testing in your life...

    Best Regards Sh@m@n VirTuel

    I just signed up as the Atheros Chipset tester. Just in case people needed to know what positions have been filled and what chipsets are left.

    just for a check before i send betas tomorrow.....

    is this right for wpa_supplicant

    # WPA-PSK/TKIP

    ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant

    network={
    ssid="SSID"
    key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
    proto=WPA
    pairwise=TKIP
    group=TKIP
    psk="PASS"
    }

    # WPA-PSK/AES

    ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant

    network={
    ssid="SSID"
    key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
    proto=WPA
    pairwise=CCMP
    group=TKIP
    psk="PASS"
    }

    #WPA2-PSK-tkip
    network={
    ssid="SSID"
    key_mgmt=WPA2-PSK
    proto=RSN
    pairwise=TKIP
    group=TKIP
    psk="PASS"
    }

    i never use wpa-supplicant cause i use rt73s only, and it's not compliant.....so if you can correct my conf errors before i send beta will help me a lot

    thx

    SNIP...

    thx again
    Shaman has got all his testers, and notified us who we are, so unless you have an Atmel you are waisting your time responding or PM'ing.

    Sorry
