Airbase-ng broadcasting on channel 255

Hi,
After creating an AP by using the command: airbase-n --essid Home mon0, it will start broadcasting on channel 255 even though I make ifconfig wlan0 channel 1 and same for mon0.
So, if I start searching for example on my phone, I cannot detect it.
I tried this on wifiway, and works normal, channel of broadcasting was 1.

Can anyone advise if I have missed some configuration please?

After upgrading to BT5R2, when i run the airbase-ng, it stop brodcasting on channel 255, but brodcast on channel between 1 and 12 randomly.
So the channel keep changing, and in anyway i cannot connect to this AP

I'm seeing the same issue. When I run airodump-ng I can see that AP is cycling between all channels. Anybody have any suggestions?
