I know of a Linux version with only aircrack-ng tools included since that's the main tool you use. If this would be of any help to you here's the site: http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=slitaz
Hi everyone, long time user first time poster.
I was curious if anyone knew of a smaller version of backtrack or a way to remove unneeded things from the OS. The reason being, I'm trying to dual boot Windows XP and Backtrack on my netbook with a SSD of only 7.8 GB, I do have TinyXP installed which comes to about 2GB when I install all of my needed softwares and such and the full install of Backtrack 5 is something like 7GB I CAN use backtrack on a 4gb usb drive without issue after all, all I use Backtrack for is aircrack, however I'd rather not have to carry around the drive. After spending over a week trying to get this to dual boot, trying every different method I could find, posting on this forum is a last resort.
Does anyone know of a tiny version of backtrack or a way to remove unneeded things to make the installer smaller. Or perhaps somehow use the usb install (which for some reason comes to around 3GB) on the hard drive.
Thanks for reading guys ANY help would be appreciated.
