Being a beginner in Linux and open source world, such is the case with Backtrack.
I'm currently booting it via Virtual Machine and things are not going all that well.
Thus my question:

Does anyone have a netbook recommendation that works right out of the box with BT5 and is likely to work perfectly with next versions that I can get?

Bonus question is if anyone has a great learning resource that is fast paced?
