I think you need the software center,
apt-get install software-center
I'm new with BackTrack and i don't know how to install a program like Chrome, for example... i was used to using Ubuntu but here in BackTrack there are no application for debian packages...
What have i to do?

i uninstall flash. because i was trying to get a splash and it said i didnt have flash so i went on here search for. how to install flash. read it.

well the unstalling part worked. but when i tryed to install it.. i got the error i posted above. and ive google this for about a good 30 mins and all the commands ive tryed keep giving me the same error. btw ive also tryed the way they posted as well. still doesnt work. any help?

like Facebook , and Youtube and....
and we should use Proxy Usa or Socks account , or VpN...
who can help me to set this setting for backTrack 5
i download the Tor applicaion , but i can not install this ..
i put that in the Root folder and konsool and get..
but not installed ( that format is B2z , somethink like this )
