How Connect to internet using a Dial-up USB Modem

I Have a USB Dial Up modem which requires a SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) to access network for connection to Internet.
Problem is that , BackTrack 5 does not identify my USB Modem .
I am also used wvdialconf to configure my modem .But it says that no any modem is found.
I am completed my wvdial.conf file with following text:-
[Dialer Defaults]
Init1 = AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP","airtelgprs.com","",0,0
Init2 = ATQ0V1E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
Modem Type = USB Modem
Baud = 460800
New PPPD = Yes
Modem = /dev/ttyACM0
Isdn = 0
Phone = *99***1#
Password = xxx
Username = xxx



Modem = /dev/ttyS0 is the problem because i thinking that ttyS0 is not a correct device in that case .
So please tell me how we can identify out modem .

My modem Name is huawei E173

How to connect Internet in my pc ???
