Live-CD network adapter problem

now I've booted the system from the live-cd. i used the second text boot method. no i can connect with my internet but tip the command "airmon-ng" in my console i cannot see my network adapter.

system: Backtrack 5r1 live-CD


network adapter: intel (sorry i don't no the exactly name)

what does the ifconfig command show?

There are lots of posts on airmon-ng and Intel cards. If you search a little you should find both the explanation and the solution for your problem.
