black screen / lock up after Grub
Hello group
Followed the instructions at infosec ramblings and installed BT5R1 on an encrypted USB stick. The drive has two partitions one 500M for the boot loader crypt payload and the rest for /.
I have been able to boot into the disk using my home system and one of my work desktops, but on my HP compaq I am having issues. The grub loader shows up, then after selecting a OS or allowing the timer to zero out the screen blanks and the system locks. This same behavior happens for single user mode.
Oh and mods: You need to fix your CAPTCHAs. It took four tries both to register & again to post before I could read the bloody things well enough to translate it. And I assure you I am a english speaking human!

I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
