I assume you are right, the issue is caused by the lack of drivers.
Fix: You can either create your own custom .iso and include the video drivers in it or https://www.backtrack-linux.com/
Hello, i have a Backtrack 5 KDE 32bit live-USB installation. It is working perfectly on other systems. My System is an Asus 1215B, with an AMD-E350 APU (which contains, besides the AMD CPU, a Geforce HD 6300-series GPU). It's got 2 Gb of RAM.
Whole specs:
If i bootup the default mode, it loads some file / the kernel and, after that, it shows a screen which looks like the screen is broken. The input of 'startx', 'root' or 'toor' changes nothing. I made a video, so you can see it yourself:CPU
AMD E-350
Zacate 40nm Technologie
RAM
2,00 GB DDR3 @ 532MHz (7-7-7-20)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. 1215B (CPU 1)
GPU
HSD121PHW1 (1366x768@60Hz)
AMD Radeon HD 6300 series Graphics (ASUStek Computer Inc)
HDD
313GB Seagate ST932032 5AS SATA Disk Device (SATA)
I assume its a problem with the GPU drivers, is there any possibility to include additional drivers into the .iso file, or install Backtrack on another way? (I don't have a DVD-tray in this Netbook..) Thanks for your answers or help!
