From what I know ath9k works out of the box on BT5, however you could search for the compat wireless drivers on the internet.

hello all.
I'm using BT5 installed and BT5R1 in a VMware.
I have an USB wireless TPlink TL-WN722N - chipset Atheros AR9271 Driver ath9k
when I use:
airmon-ng start wlan0
aireplay-ng -9 mon0
I see: Injection is working!
But I never complete the injection with aireplay-ng ... always show Sending Authentication Request ....
Do I need to patch this driver ? I'm trying to follow the steps at http://www.backtrack-linux.org/wiki/...ompat-wireless but the package was not found to download.

I was in the same boat, i found an older Tutorial by Joker that put me on the right track.
I made an updated tutorial and posted it here in the hxxp://forum.aircrack-ng.org/index.php?topic=13002.0
I posted it here in the newbie thread... but it's not there yet...
