Setting up Dual boot with windows 7

Hey guys last time I was here was a couple years ago. I had set up dual boot on my laptop with backtrack for and win xp.

Well its great to be back and this time would like to know what you recommend to dual boot win 7 and BT5. My laptop is a 250GB HDD and was wondering what would be a good ok size for thr BT pactition, I was thinking 50GB but since I would just be trying to compromise wep for my employer maybe just 20GB is enough. Also I would like windows 7 to be default OS, last time I dual booted by was the default and was annoyed because if I went to the restroom or went somewhere when I powered on my laptop it would to bt. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

We can not tell you what's the recommended size for Backtrack as it depends for what you use it. Also regarding your boot preferences, simply edit grub to change them.

Appreciate your help. I did a 200GB windows/ 50GB backtrack 5, everything seems fine. I just do not know how to use grub. I tried the search all last night and part of today. I want windows to be the default OS. Is there any step by step tutorial or any way you can help me. Thanks.

Well I've found some articles about changing grub boot order on Google in about 5 seconds so I think you should use a bit more descriptive words in your searching.

Think there is a tool called startup editor in the repo's, if editing grub is too challenging for you.
