Default Autopsy on Backtrack 5 R1 not working

    Hi

I'm new to Backtrack and have just installed permanently onto a USB, my install worked fine and Backtrack seems to be working fine. However, when i tried to run Autopsy i am getting the error:

conf.pl did not return a true value at /pentest/forensics/autopsy/lib//Main.pm line 62.
Compilation failed in require at ./autopsy line 56.
    BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./autopsy line 56.

Can anyone help me with this error code as i need to access Autopsy for uni work.

Thanks for any help anyone can give

    Hello.
    I was the same problem.
if you see the file conf.pl sure that this value is:
    $LOCKDIR = '/tmp'
My original conf.pl file was at blank valeu. When a changed it works fine.
Tell me if it work whit you.
    Thank you
