Unhappy several burn attempts for BT5, none boot

Have tried burning BT5 on both a Windows 7 comp & a Ubuntu 10.10 machine. The discs DO NOT boot at all. If opened they should what look like proper contents, but no luck installing. A little help? I burned them as a direct copy of the ISO file and as a data disc. Neither work.

    1. check the md5 signature of the iso file that u downloaded
    2. choose to burn image and DO NOT burn as data disc
    3. set the bios to boot from CD/DVD rom first

Make sure that you are burning an .ISO file to the disk. You may need and .ISO burning application (easily found online).
And as always, check the MD5 sum

It seems like you burnt an iso file onto the disc, but did't burn the iso to the disc (you followin' ?).

I suggest using imgburn in Windows, and burning slowly (I use 2 or 4x).
Running both KDE and GNOME BT5 flawlessly. Thank you !

Hopefully this will help you. So first know your bit and make sure you downloaded a .iso file. Second you should have a dvr-r to burn onto and use this .iso burner. It is a very helpful easy one. Download Link---- http://www.poweriso.com/download.htm ------ then boot the disk in your BIOS, usually f12.
