Toshiba Laptop with Intel Centrino 6200 wireless card

Is the intel centrino 6200 card compatible with backtrack. I have tried all sorts of minor fixes but nothing seemed work. Can someone help me on this please?

You can browse web site but you cannot use packet injection nor monitor mode

You should get on ebay and get yourself an ALFA card with an external antenna for packet injection. They are highly compatible, cheap and very effective compared to low powered internal cards. PS:Make sure the card is genuine before buying as some are counterfeit and do not perform as well as the genuine ones.

I have got intel centrino 6230, (it seems yours i think)
you can use packet injection and monitor mode if you install kernel 2.6.38-rc4 ( in the text file there are the commande .\script\driver-selct ath9k replace ath9k by "intel".

a friend did this on my laptop three months ago and it worked correctly
but today it don't work because i forgot how to install the kernel.

If you know how to install this please post yours command lines ans screenshots thank you very much
