I have a test webserver setup for testing, public facing on backtrack. On only when needed via vmware and wish to anononymize the ip . It has been port forwarded and works using the public ip. Now I wish to hide the ip without using no-ip or dnydns...Can squid be used for this (ie) squid proxy ip used to direct to webserver via the routers public ip then onto the webserver?
browser>squid ip 220.127.116.11 >router public ip 92.X.x.x >backtrack ip webserver.
So the squid ip is used as public ip.
any ideas? The task is a webserver honeypot tested to find origin of ipaddress. If found = fail....
Kind Regards Dee
