Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Wireless Card not detected by Backtrack 5

When i open a terminal in bt5, and type airmon-ng, this comes up:
Interface Chipset Driver

Backtrack 5 doen't seem to detect my wireless card, which has worked perfectly with every other program or device i have ever used. I know that there are other posts about this problem, but none of those solutions have worked for me. my wireless card is Intel(R) PRO/100 VE, and any help will be appreciated.
