How Can I Put ATHEROS AR9285 In Monitor Mode? (I am new In BT)

Hello, my name is Pablo, I am 17 years old and i am from Argentina (I do not speak english very well, sorry) I am new in Back-Track, I Installed this OS because i like Computer Security , and i want to learn more about this wonderful area.
I Have a Notebook Asus K52JC, with a wireless Atheros AR9285, but i donnt know how i put this in Monitor Mode to sniff packets, and learn to Crack WEP Passwords.
Any recommendation for this?

Try airmon-ng --help play, explore have fun there are plenty of info on the internet as long its your own AP your cracking. you may also want to check out airodump-ng and aireplay
