I am using the same adapter and haven't experienced any problems running it on BT5 32Bit.Works perfectly out of the box.

However I couldn't get it running neither on BT5 64Bit installed on disk nor on Virtualbox.But there is two more generations (you and me are using first generation) that might work on 64Bit.

On 32bit you are all good with that interface.
