I'm wondering the same thing.. i guess you could try:
# apt-get install vnc4server
So I have tried several different things, and still can't figure this out -
BT5 is basically a modified version of Ubuntu - but in Ubuntu, under System>Preferences
There is a simple little "Remote Desktop" option, but BT5 doesn't have this.
I am trying to connect from a Win7 machine to view my BT5 desktop. I have made sure my BT5 computer has rdesktop installed, and also has tsclient setup, and the the 'xtightvncviewer' for ubuntu, to enable the vnc option on tsclient.
However, I have tried all the local addresses with VNC viewer on my Win7 comp, with tsclient running on the BT5 computer, and still haven't been able to get it to work.
Anybody had a similar problem, or found a work around? A different desktop viewer?
I'm just frustrated, because all I would have to do in Ubuntu is click a box in the Preferences>Remote Desktop option, and in BT5 I can't get it to work. :/
Thanks for the help!
