I'm trying to get python-pyopencl installed on my BT5 setup, but to no avail. A guide I was following lists it as in the repos, but it's no longer there. I've also tried adding the Ubuntu PPA which worked, until it came across an nvidia dependency and refused to install (I'm on ATI hardware).

So trying to build from source, I have these dependencies:
g++ libboost-all-dev subversion git-core python-numpy

My config file is as follows:
Code:
BOOST_INC_DIR = ['/usr/include/boost']
BOOST_LIB_DIR = ['/usr/lib']
BOOST_COMPILER = 'gcc43'
BOOST_PYTHON_LIBNAME = ['boost_pyhon-mt-py26']
USE_SHIPPED_BOOST = True
CL_TRACE = False
CL_ENABLE_GL = False
CL_ENABLE_DEVICE_FISSION = True
CL_INC_DIR = ['/root/AMD-APP-SDK-v2.4-lnx32/include']
CL_LIB_DIR = ['/root/AMD-APP-SDK-v2.4-lnx32/lib/x86']
CL_LIBNAME = ['OpenCL']
CXXFLAGS = []
LDFLAGS = []
It builds just fine, but when it comes to installing it, it fails for some reason and I'm not sure why. There doesn't seem to be much info out about pyopencl, so any help would be appreciated. Just to add, the AMD APP SDK libs are configured fine as I was able to get pyrit up and running using the same config.

python setup.py build >> build.log
python setup.py install >> install.log

Many thanks
