First of all, I left 2 links on how to apply a patch on Linux and second we develop and maintain BT not hydra, if you have questions regarding their patch you will have better success asking them.
Hi,
Well Sickness locked my previous post, but I think you didnt quite understand what I tryed to say. Maybe I wasnt clear enough.
First I want to say thanks for the link (even if I was already aware of the commands). The thing is I cant find the source code of hydra in backtrack. I can only find hydra.c.
I found this post on how to install from scratch : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1817817. But I was wondering if I had to go all through all that trouble to apply the patch ?
Can I not apply it directly to backtrack without recompiling the whole thing ? If so, where is the directory to do so ? ( /usr/src/linux/drivers/net/ ?)
Thanks in advance.
Tigroo
