Hello all,
I installed a fresh copy of Backtrack 5 R1 to disk, booted in, installed the nVidia drivers and CUDA/pyrit support as instructed in http://www.backtrack-linux.org/wiki/...A_On_BackTrack
Everything works fine ... after reboot next morning I can't get past the red Bactrack 5 screensaver. It just hangs there (i waited for about 15min, it didn't move past the screen). Since there is nothing I can do from there, I tryed booting in rescue mode and this is the screen i got (it hangs there 2):

Is there anything I can do besides a fresh install? How do i figure out what caused the problem when I can't boot to a prompt? Is there any chance of fixing this via LiveCD? If so ... please can someone give a hit on how to do this.
Thx!!
UPDATE:
I solved the simptom but not the reason ... it had nothing to do with the nVidia drivers. I removed my winfast PVR2000 TV card by mistake and then pluged it back in. When i restarted Bactrack stoped working. Now i removed it and it works fine now.
