If you're using the Firefox install within BT5, you may need to edit the NoScript add-on to allow scripting from localhost. That should bring up a scroll bar.

If I could figure out how to scuba dive & hack at the same time, there would be nothing I couldn't do...
Thanks but that didn't work. I allowed scripts globally and it still has no scroll bar.
That still doesn't bring up a scroll bar. do you think i need to install video drivers?
I bet it is an issue with firefox itself. Try to reinstall it or upgrade it.
I upgraded firefox and it still didn't work. Plus it doesn't scroll down on wireshark once i start to capture packets and firefox has nothing to do with wireshark. Could it have something to do with not being able to fit on a netbook's 10 inch screen?
If I were you, I would first install the proper video drivers, I've seen many people having problems with nouveau drivers. Check if you are using nouvea (lsmod | gerp -i nouveau). If so, need to install the proper drivers.
If still with same problem, try to use Google chrome or Opera, and see what happens.
Best of lucks.
