    Default Using Metasploit with Proxychains

I'm running BT5 R1 and have configured tor to work with proxychains. I can run commands like
    Code:
    proxychains firefox
    and
    Code:
    proxychains nmap [host]
    successfully.

However, when I try the command
    Code:
    proxychains msfconsole
    I get an error:
    Code:
    ProxyChains-3.1 (http://proxychains.sf.net)
    |S-chain|-<>-127.0.0.1:9050-<><>-127.0.0.1:7175-<--denied

    and some more info.

What am I missing, and how should I fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

That's a metasploit postgresql error. Try seeing if postgresql is running on port 7175.

It seems like Proxychains is trying to access the Postgresql database through Tor. I tried the command
    Code:
    msf > db_connect msf3:[password]@[my_external_ip]:7175/msf3
but didn't have any luck (I set up port forwarding and even tried plugging my computer directly into my modem). Do you know if there's a way to set up an exception in Proxychains (it seems like 127.0.0.1 would be an exception by default, but I guess not)?

It's weird that the port is 7175; I thought Postgresql was at 5432. I tried that port with db_connect as well, but no luck.
