Linksys ae1000 finally installed, airodump-ng not working.

Hey so I finally installed my linksys ae1000 but I dont know if I did it correctly.

Basically when I do airmon-ng I get this

ra0 Ralink 2560 PCI rt2500 (monitor mode enabled)

I think that the driver should not be rt2500, but rt3572 or atleast 2870. (I'm not sure if that's the problem) I'm not 100% sure but I know that when I run airodump I get no results. Is there anyway to update the driver? I used the rt3572 download to do this but for some reason make && sudo make install (I think that's the command that I used) sorry can't remember, Am very new to linux made my driver rt2500. The card is now usable in the linux but the airodump isn't working

I was wondering if I can somehow uninstall it and try to reinstall or maybe update the drive.

The commands that I used were airmon-ng stop ra0 and then same thing but start. Then airodump-ng ra0 and it flicks through the channels but isn't populating.

Can anyone please help.

Hello, i have the same problem. The commands "iwconfig" and "iwlist" work correctly, but "airodump" isn't working. I think we need patched driver for Linksys AE1000, but where find that? Mockba, have you solved the problem meanwhile? We need help please!
