    Default Error running Airoscript

    Hi,

I´m running Backtrack 2.0 Final Live CD and if i ran the Airoscript and select the first point from the menu for scanning, i can see for a second another window opening and closing and then will see again the menu.

When I scrolled up, I found this error lines:

Warning: Cannot convert string "nil2" to type FontStruct
xterm: unable to open font "-Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--20-200-75-75-C-100-ISO10646-1", trying "fixed"....

Could someone tell me, what the problem is and how i can solve it - many thanks!!!!

yes the problem is you should learn to run the aircrack suite from the command line so you understand what is happening . see the bt wiki or aircrack website for tutorials

So I guess noone has the answer to his question.
I would like to know what causes it also.

I have learned more from this script than any of the wiki's or videos.
Most of the vids are too blurry and fast to see what is going on.
I have been trying to use the commands and reading the forums, but sometimes time constraints would be eased if this script would work.

But we will trudge onward and find an answer.

    xterm issue.......

just type xterm in shell you will get the same error, it's because the nil font is missing on backtrack systems......

you may fix this in installing the right font but that have nothing to do with the failure of aircrack's commands....

but you need to learn aircrack-ng commands....you need to forget airoscript because it's shitty and horrible.......

you won't learn anything if you are just using scripts.....
best thing is to learn the commands, learn the bash language and build your own script dedicated to your own hardware and network...........

for the video have a look to Xploitz tutorials..... really clear and many persons were successful with them.....

Well, I have to say I agree with the others on the educational value of airoscript. I learned the commands and have about 50-50 luck with getting things to run. I wanted to see if I could learn what I have been doing wrong from the airoscript since it appears well written and probably took many hours of work and debugging.

It would be nice to get this script working properly. Where could I get the fonts?
