Backtrack 5 Gnome cant connect to internet but the WICD say's conected.

Hello guys this is my first thrend at this forum.

i'm having a headche how to fix this thing. after i doing the DNS Spoofing+SET i got this problem
my backtrack cant conect to the internet... but the wicd say's connected allready...
last time i'm reinstall back my backtrack 5. and then i do the DNS Spoofing+SET
it happend again.. this time i dont want to reinstall my backtrack 5. i'm trying to find this problem...
please help me about this one... i'm really2 need it.

Are you using ettercap from within SET or are you manually doing the DNS Spoofing ?

same problem for me after using fake ap tools (from ericmiliam's " easy creds " script)
...but after reboot the problem disappear... maybe the problem is due to dhcp3 server config?

I'm doing it manually. with this cmds

locate etter.dns

nano /usr/blah blah...

on the diffrent wifi. after i going back to my wifi the buuged is cameout.

the wicd say it's connect but when i connect it to the internet it not conected..

Try killing ettercap afterwards, if not use it from within SET.
