Default Can't Boot into Backtrack 5

So my other thread was closed so I couldn't post this there.

I burned backtrack 5 KDE 64 into a DVD to see if the USB was the problem, and I got the same error.

I can't type or do anything when it gets there, its just frozen, so I just restart my computer. I have a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916 running Windows 7 64 bit.

Display Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6400 @ 2.00GHz
Network Adapter: Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN

Does anyone know what's causing this? And is there anyway to fix it?

I appreciate any further assistance. Thanks.

Did your downloaded ISO match the MD5 hash listed in the download area? Have you checked the hardware compatibility list here on the forums? Could be that you've got a non-compatible hardware device. Also, have you tried the 32-bit version of BT?

I'm no linux expert, but when I've seen these types of freezing issues (regardless of o/s), it's been the video card/chipset on the offending machine. Tweaking your BIOS settings (particularly the video ones) may help. You might also try downloading the new BT5r1.
If I could figure out how to scuba dive & hack at the same time, there would be nothing I couldn't do...

Verify the md5, burn at the slowest speed you can to a DVD. Some usb sticks suck at pretending to be an optical drive.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

I was able to boot into it selecting another one of the boot options in the beginning. But I downloaded R1 also and when I booted that one, I had no problems. Thanks for the help guys.
