Hi,
I am new here...I have a problem...and hope some one will help me.
I have downloaded backtrack5 and unetbootin.I formatted my 4gb kingston usb drive as fat32. i used unetbootin and installed backtrack on it.
After i restarted my system still windows is started and not backtrack.
In bios,in boot device it is showing as usb fdd.....usb hdd...but selecting any of these is not changing anything.
Also in the usb drive no boot files are present...is this normal or am i missing anything?
the md5 files are same....so downloading is correct...
please help me...

Try the USB on another machine that way you can see where the problem is.

If the USB booted on another machine clearly your laptop has something against USB boot ... try considering running BT inside a VMware.
