Can I update Kernel in Backtrack ?

Hi, I want to update the kernel in my Backtrack 5 from 2.6.38 to 3.0

How to do that ?

I want to do this because I want to use the ath9k_htc in Master mode. (from linuxwireless
it says that ath9k_htc can be put in Master mode since kernel 3.0)

We do not support such actions, if you choose to recompile your kernel or update it you are on your own.
