aptitude, apt-get and synaptic are different flavours of the same thing. If you do such a big change, updates are broken and that's it![]()
Possible solution: revert back to the oldie KDE, update, upgrade again to KDE 4.2.
I don't think it's worth the hassle... As for me, I'll stick with the "grandpa" KDE.![]()
yea 4.2 looks better and has more features but it's not worth breaking the update process so won't be doing a tut afterall thanks trellis
