    Default bt noPcmcia

I know this is a newb question.

Where do I put the command "bt nopcmcia" do it doesnt try to dhcp all of my devices?

Since I dont want it to connect to anything upon bootup this adds like a minute as it tries my LAN, my Wireless, my wireless card.

The command you are looking for is "bt nodhcp" and you use it at the initial prompt where it pauses before linux actually starts

You're misreading the startup sequence. "bt nopcmcia" would prevent any pcmcia devices from being loaded.

As far as I can tell, this cheatcode doesn't work anymore. I wish it did.

"bt nopcmcia" works for me, but is there a way to disable network startup?
