Have you tried checking the log file as the error message tells you ?
connection to x server lost.
- BackTrack 5
- GNOME 32 bit
- Single boot
I logged in as root, then I was browsing (e.x saw the video online). Not long after, my computer is logged out themselves and give a warning as shown below. How can I fix it?

Try copying and pasting your logs and files to pastebin instead of some shady fly-by-night file hosting site.
Or you can paste it in your post here using the code tags.
