Default (EMAIL NOT SENDING using SET)

    Hi -
Using SET Version 1.52 on BT 5.
Trying to test SET email payload. I am using the gmail option and entering credentials. (I can login with this account in gmail directly so i know its good)

Everything seemed to go OK, but the email never comes in.
I don't recall doing anything special with BT4, but maybe something has changed.n

Anyone have any advice on how to trouble shoot this or what may be wrong ??

    \Cheers

I've talked to Dave about this via email. He said he was going to check into it. He has since added support for Yahoo and Hotmail, but Yahoo hung on me also. I have yet to try Hotmail.

Thanks, I will take a look. I didnt think it needed sendmail, but now I do recall older version asking to start sendmail.
Maybe I will need to set up a sniff to see where the data is going and how far. I just remember it working out of the box in BT4

    Cheers

Haven't used it in a while so you could be true. Have you tried own server instead of gmail ?

If you update SET to the latest version and take a look at the change log you will see he's addressed this issue and changed some things. There are still some bugs but it looks as though he's working on it.
