i have been doing some research in getting my driver to support monitor mode..from everything i read its not possible sure certain things can be done but it cannot be fully compatable with the wl driver.. this was over a year ago and im wondering if anything new has come up that may give my driver another chance....thanks

If you get the brcm80211 drivers you can use monitor mode with the BCM4313, injection apparently works also but the driver is not fully developed from what I have been able to work out. In testing with the same chipset you just don't receive any data back rendering it useless for the purposes I expect you want to use it for.

I have the same chipset and I have been trying to install brcmsmac for about two weeks now, to no avail . I got to the part where I am supposed to modprobe the driver into the kernel, but it gives me an error message ..

hey uptownmo i could even get the driver would you please tell how did you get it to work or give a link

any way i go to additional drivers to install the wireless driver it tell that i have to install the broadcom wireless sta driver when i try to install it i get an error says: "Sorry, installation of this driver failed.
Please have a look at the log file for details:/var/log/jockey.log "

please help me i tried many tutorials i need this to start my hacking career
