Problem with backtrack on HP pavilion dm4 1165

hi, my name is claudio i am from bolivia and i've had some problems when i tried install backtrack in my notebook when i start with a live cd every is ok but at time to install to my HD like OS host the backtrack just run like console but not grafics if some had the same problem i will be so glad if you can help me thanks.

Looks like you're running an ATI graphics card...? I've had similar problems with the drivers. After reading around forums for two days, I think there's a problem with Ubuntu 10.04 and ATI Radeon HD cards. Let me know if you fix your issue.

I have the same problem though the only difference is that i'm running an HP Pavilion dm4 1150

Now, i really like backtrack, and i mean really like backtrack. but, i also really really like my laptop. i mean, come on. its an ICore 5 we're talking about. so, can some one please, please,please figure out how to get backtrack to run on the HP Pavilion dm4 series
I mean, there's a multiple other blogs i'v seen where people have been having the same problem, so obviously its not that tiny of a minority to not produce some sort of patch for it.
Just, Some one figure out to make the thing run.

perhaps if we can get a community going, maybe one of us will stumble apon a solution
