WLAN driver for Toshiba NB505-N500BL

Anyone know if there is a wireless driver for this card and if it is supported on aircrack. I attempted all of the tutorials on the aircrack-ng.org website but nothing really works for BT5. Could someone assist me with this?

Try finding out on the aircrack website/forum if this card supports injection and if it is compatible with aircrack. Also you might want to provide us more details and terminal outputs if you card is recognised, can you connect to a wireless AP with it, which steps you took with aircrack, etc.

I can connect to wireless devices right now however it is listing my chipset as unknown. According to aircrack this means that the driver is not properly installed. Anyway to determine the correct chipset? My issue has been that using sniff_dump the station MAC is not being picked up no matter how many packets I capture. Using Gerix I inject fake authentications successful which i find to be weird. Thanks in advance for any help/information provided.

After a quick Google search, I didn't find anything else than "802.11n card", so you can unscrew your laptop to find the chipset.

If not you might want to ask your Laptops producer about the wireless card details than search for aircrack compatibility. Also it is advised you use the aircrack suite from terminal without any other additional softwares for better troubleshooting.

Ive installed BT5 to a same model of notebook.. my problem that i have are almost the same.. wlan chipset unknown using rt18192ce driver.. the exeption isthat i can monitor with airodump and the APs appear and there stations... my biggest problem right know is that i cannot connect to the network using wicd manager.. its out put is "Connection Failed: Unable to get ip address" sincerely i dont know if my problem with wicd is related with the wlan chipset unknown.. im am an beginner but eager to learn.. please correct me..
