Hey everyone.
Obviously I'm new here, and I've just started learning about BackTrack and the tools it has to offer, but I have a question about Metasploit.

Just out of curiosity, and curiosity alone, is it possible to open a meterpreter session on a remote, unsecure Windows XP box without any physical access to the machine, if you're connected to the same network?

With the skill set I have right now, I obviously do not intend to attempt it as of now, I just am curious as to whether it's possible, and perhaps without the blatantly obvious transmission of payloads from SET via email, etc.
