no aerials ?

hi , can wireless cards work ok with no aerials ? or will the poor swr/returnloss
kill them off.ive set up a small test network in my workshop,and will be attacking/defending it from only a few yards away.i dont want to find my latest script or program has not worked as expected and got out the shack to cause mayhem in my local area !!.thanks

It's generally not a good idea. You can throw a silver antistatic bag, or potato chip bag over the antenna to attenuate the signal.
