Hi Guys

Im new to all this and im trying to teach myself about all aspects of security. I have BT on virtual box on my work PC alone with win7, XPSP2 and Metasploitable.

Having a bit of nightmare trying to expolit an XPSP2 VM with no patches heading over to begineers to ask for help right now.

Pretty much in the same boat as SilentNemisis.
Looking to learn some penetration testing skills to put to use.
Currently learning C programming and how to use Linux.
Been a long time Windows gamer and not really used anything other than.
My few experiences with Macs haven't been pleasant so I have opted to stay well clear.
I have been wanting to look into Linux distros for a few years now and have only recently had the time to explore properly. Using Ubuntu 10.10 both as a live CD on work machines and full install on my personal PC and enjoying the experience.
I have had a few hours of BTR1 and R2 under my belt but currently have a Alfa 1w adaptor on the way so that I can actually try some more areas out.
