    Hi guys,

Good to be here, lots to read and lots to learn. A little about me and why I came to learn and use backtrack -

    1. I am a member of various online watch dog groups who monitor internet fraud and security breaches. IT security plays a heavy role in this, so I need to learn how those I watch think and operate.

    2. I plan to do some malware testing, monitoring, and security reports by grabbing up some malware in the wild on a windows system and monitoring the commands that come in from the botnet C&C's. Backtrack provides the perfect platform to do just that with its WINE VM set up and traffic monitoring capabilities on the linux side. Should be fun once I get to it... but I can guarantee you I'll be wiping my machine HDD quite frequently.

See you all on the learning fields.
