Starting a MSc in Digital Forensics and Security this year so I'm going to try and get an early start by using Backtrack to see what I can learn.

Currently working in the NHS as a IT Support Officer but have decided to progress my career further.

Looking forward to learning some new skills.

Hi all.

I'm just a general IT guy at the moment (support and software test at the moment, but I used to work at a small PC OEM) from the UK. I've been interested in infosec for a couple of years now after discovering the PaulDotCom Security Weekly Podcast, and have recently got some big books on infosec to work through. I recently did a free online course on computer networks from Stanford which I found challenging, but VERY interesting. I'm also currently learning to pick locks which is fun.

Hello everyone!

I am a Windows user and a Linux/win administrator more for work that for fun or learn, I installed Linux hundred of times and hate the drivers setup or wifi, 3D part (a lot of time wasted), but now with vmware or virtual machines in general is pretty easy to me.

Using BackTrack for a while in a VM and now more actively as Host OS in a laptop with compis and wobbfly windows xD

Hmm well I joined the forum way back in 2008 but then got side tracked I guess one could say, been using BT since the first version on and off. Going to be on here more now so I can learn all I can about BT.
