Hello everyone,
30 years old from the UK.
Used Ubuntu but nothing more than as a point and click OS, wanted a challenge so I've reinstalled BT5 r2 and other than a few issues I've used it more than I did Ubuntu![]()
hola everybody,
I'm new to this forum and also to backtrack, in fact new to linux, i've been a windows user but saw my friends doing cool things on linux and hence swited to BT. Hopefully this community is gonna help me learn new things
Hello everyone!
I hope to be an active member here for quite a while. I have recently moved from an apartment to a house in my college neighborhood and am currently without and internet connection. I plan on using this opportunity to learn how to use linux as well as learning how to hack wireless internet. I read in the FAQ that Backtrack isnt exactly the best place to start with linux so I am going to download kubunto too, as advised. However, it is nearly impossible for me to live without an internet connection so I'll be using Backtrack to gain access to the neighbors internet so that I can continue to learn about linux and backtrack.
I am about to order a usb dongle that allows for reinjection and a hard drive for one of my spare laptops so that I can dedicate it to linux. I have a few different computers: a 2011 macbook pro, a custom built, dual-booting desktop (hacktintosh), an old HP (the one ill dedicate to linux). I built my desktop a few months ago and use it to game and do "productive things", my macbook pro has since turned into a $2,200 browsing machine lol, and my old HP will be my lunix beast
So, nice to meet you and you'll be seeing me around!
Hello all!
Am new to the whole Linux scene so I am here to learn more about Linux and Backtrack!
Cheers,
Samkent.
