Hi all, I have been using some functions of backtrack for a bit as a hobby. pentesting is not my field of competence at all (I'm a student musician). After having my wifi cracked by someone I decided to learn how to avoid it and the best way seemed to learn how it is done. I lurked around reading about aircrack then ussed it against my own weakly protected network. After some changes I read about backtrack other functions, and metasploit. I tried the metasploit unleashed tutorial and when I found no trace of dradis framework, neither on the wiki nor on the forum, nothing on google (people seemed to have it but my live cd did not) I decided to come here and ask about it.

edit : I read again and again the forum rules and "how to make a valid post" topic, I tried twice to create one but the admins dont seem to want to validate the creation. without any explanation I can not understand what is wrong with my topics (one that I tried to create in the beginners sections, another in general discussion), I said wich release I was using, what kind of message error I got for wich request, I think I followed the example shown in the topic down to the letter but still nothing. I am sorry to bother you here but as I can not send private messages (an administrator forbade it it says) I ask here. please explain to me what I am doing wrong so I can get some help with my problem.

Hello everybody :-D
I started using BackTrack first, but i decided to put it on hold and learn a little bit more about Linux, so I installed Ubuntu on my laptop and I can't remember last time I used Windows on this laptop.
Now that I have a little moe understanding towards Linux I went back to BackTrack and I am enjoying it :-)
I also bought an Alfa, so I can use BackTrack in a VM :-D

Love this forum, and hope to be here a long time :-)
